Bodmin Town Museum

Bodmin Town Museum is situated in the centre of town on the Mount Folly (adjacent to the Shire Hall). Run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, the Museum is open from Easter until late October.

The museum houses a rich history of artefacts and collections that tell the story of Bodmin and its countryside from the earliest times. There are lots of new and updated displays of material relating to social life, trade and transport, rocks and minerals, the world wars, a Cornish kitchen and law & order.

Plenty of books, leaflets and souvenirs for sale as well as the opportunity for children to complete an exciting quiz.

Admission to this dog-friendly museum is free but donations are gratefully received.

Please contact the Museum on 01208 77067, by email or via their Facebook page in order to check this season’s opening times before visiting as occasionally they have to close unexpectedly
