Parks & Open Spaces
BODMIN TOWN COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO MAKE RESIDENTS AND VISITORS AWARE THAT THEIR PARKS, PUBLIC SPACES AND PLAY AREAS REMAIN OPEN AT THIS PRESENT TIME (NATIONAL LOCKDOWN). PLEASE ENSURE YOU FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES AND CURRENT GUIDELINES WHEN USING THESE FACILITIES.
Bodmin Town Council owns a number of areas of local landscape importance providing visual impact and recreational amenity for the town, including the Beacon Local Nature Reserve which the Council manages under a Countryside Stewardship Agreement in partnership with Cornwall Council.
Click on the pictures below for more information on the Town Council’s areas of green space within the town. If you have any queries or issues with the parks and open spaces, please contact the Estates Manager by email or on 01208 455740.
If you’re interested in learning more about the rich history and ‘hidden’ gems of Bodmin’s outside spaces the Welcome to Bodmin leaflet and Well Trail leaflet (both downloadable on the right of this page) are a good place to start. The Council is currently working on a replacement information board for the site of Berry Tower – the Grade II listed ruined tower which is all that remains of the Chapel of the Holy Rood (built between 1501-14).
